Good Morning Church!

Please scroll down for today's video message.

Hi Church family!

Hopefully, this video works well and it’s a blessing for us all this weekend! Firstly, You’ll notice there is no music - this is because we’re yet to determine whether we can even set up appropriate production for Music.

We’ll be looking into it, but until then, can I recommend the following link (a worship song) to play prior to the Videos:  https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=T5Y8s-Sz_ac

Secondly, for those of us who are.... ahem... younger, perhaps this album (link below) will be a blessing to you as it has been to my family. Just some tunes to play during the week sometime. Let me know if you listen + like it! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=w9tr9N7TXag

Thirdly, as for this morning's video - this literally “our first day” with this! Big thanks to all the minds that helped us even get this far - particularly Jase, Jules, Paul, and Peter. Let us know what works, what doesn’t work, etc! We’ll learn as we go, and we’ll endeavour to capture a fuller ‘service’ in the weeks to come - this online thing was sprung on us with very little time to prepare! Let us know any thoughts or hopes or things you might like to contribute too. We’d like to make this encouraging and up-building and fresh and above all.... God-glorifying in worship to him. Fourthly, I forgot to pray after the sermon. I blame the coronavirus for that one. You may pray to close 🙂

Sermon: What One Man Can.

You think you’ve stuffed things up? Mate, have a look at Adam! How much can One Man stuff things up?? One wrong move and the entire world was thrown into disarray. Sin broke everything: humanity, relationships, creation... everything.

At a time like this, with the Coronavirus Party added to the pot and building traction, it is welcome news to be reminded what One Man Can do to fix things up. And not just any man.... but the God-Man, the Prince of Peace, the Comforter, the Alpha and the Omega - Jesus Christ, the Son of God, our Lord and Saviour. While death came through Adam, Life came through Christ!

Yes, yes, Death is here, and it’s not going anywhere yet. It’s here for a long time, but it won't be here forever. Already now, God’s plan in Christ has overflown to the many and with many more to come too. Therefore, even in a very broken world, Christians proclaim our very present Hope that will lead to future glory in Him! This Sunday will be another step patterning ourselves after The Lord Jesus.
