This is incredible, I hope you can see it: Jesus offers us salvation, not condemnation; rescue, not judgment. What does it look like to accept it? Does this mean Jesus lets us stay as we are? No. He takes us where we are at, and lifts us up, and pushes us forward. As a church, we are to pull each other upwards in him too. The church is a hospital, not a courtroom; we are nurses, not prosecutors. Picture a church where everyone is committed to helping each other up when we fall? What a place to be!
