Happy are they who delight in God

Well, we’ve clicked over into a New Year.... so Happy New Year! Speaking of being happy, we’re kicking off the new year with a 2 month series in the Psalms, and our opening psalm begins with this very word: “blessed,” which quite often translates as “happy.” What we have in Psalm 1 this week is the offer of 2 ways to live: A blessed one, or a non-blessed one. Righteousness or wickedness. One is a Godward direction in life, and this is the type of life we hope to strive for at Gateway for 2021
