Psalm 46

Natural disasters happen. Political Disasters happen. They happen around us, and they happen to us. When they do, God himself, the God of Host, God Almighty, the Most High, is our refuge... is he not? Is he not our fortress; your protector. He Himself is with us! God is present-tense, and so is His invitation to know Him. Chances are you've had a hard week. That happens. So the reminder about who God is and how he is for us and what that means for us is a present-tense need. Come and see what the Lord has done. Warning though: to be understanding, you might need to be still.
