At Gateway Community Church we have a number of ways for you to get involved with the church. We have a network of home groups and ministries that enable you to get connected with other people from outside of the church environment. Whether it’s being part of the building project or helping out on a Sunday morning or evening, getting involved with the Gateways is a great way of putting your spiritual gifts to good use.
If you would like to find out how you can get more involved please email the church office at: email@example.com

Gateway’s Backyard Mission brings God’s love to people in the Cockburn community. We do lawns, edges, and very basic garden maintenance for people who can’t do it themselves. We generally work with referrals from the City of Cockburn, but where we can we’ll also assist anyone who has a genuine need. If you’d like more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Gateway Community is associated with the Shedmen group in Canningvale. ShedMen exists to encourage men to build relationships with their peers in a wholesome workshop environment. Thier vision to accomplish this is by inviting men to the Canning Vale factory unit to engage in all types of projects such as mechanical repairs, metalwork and woodwork projects or just talking over a cuppa. There are kitchen and toilet facilities and adequate parking. Our only rules are no stress, no judgement and keep it clean. So come along for a look and bring a friend. The shedmen factory is open 8am till 3pm, Monday to Friday. For more information on ShedMen, visit their website.
An important part of our church life is to connect people to a small group of Christians within the church who become their church family. As every member participates in a home group, they can be cared for and care for others. One of the great blessings of our small group ministry has been that people can share deeper issues and the struggles of life and be encouraged and prayed for in their groups.
Our home groups include Bible teaching, discussion, prayer, service opportunities and social events. Our experience is that people have been richly blessed by being part of a home group. The following home groups are currently available for you to join:
• Southern Hills Home Group (runs fortnightly on a Tuesday Night)
• Thornlie Home Group (runs weekly on a Tuesday night)
• Success Home Group (runs weekly on a Tuesday Night)
For more information on home groups please email the church office email@example.com
