Who do you pray as?
We might be confident that we pray to the Great God of heaven and earth but, as we pray, we may not be so convinced about who we are. One of Jesus’ disciples asks, “Lord teach us to pray.” In reply, Jesus gives them more than mere words to recite aloud. He goes on to tell them two stories which identify those who pray to God. There is the relentless friend (v.5) and the little child (v.11) both of whom receive amazing answers to their requests. Will you identify with one or both? We are challenged to consider who we are before God when we pray so that our lives are filled with joy and peace. Read ahead Luke 11:1-13
